Delivery windows are approximate and may vary based on the time of year and on the amount of editing your wedding/session requires. There are many factors to consider such as the time of year and production nuances. For example, if you got married in January, my slow season, your event will be delivered quicker than say some who is getting during my peak season (March - November). It will also depend on environmental factors such as, if your wedding is outdoors vs. indoors or a combination of the two. It will be more time-consuming in post-production due to the various lighting conditions. If you have questions or concerns please contact us for an update.

Do I get every image you take during my session or event?

No, you do not. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall collection. For example, because I/We shoot with low apertures, sometimes we take a few extra shots to make sure we have the perfect focus. In another example, candid laughs and emotions are some of the best images from the session/event. I/We snap a few extras of these pivotal moments to make sure we have a great shot with the ideal expression perfect for the moment. With my expertise of processing thousands of images each year, I eliminate ones that I feel are duplicates and only deliver the best collection from your session/event.

Do you do destination weddings?
What additional fees are associated with destination weddings?

While Studio Masters is based out of Kansas City we serve clients all around the world. Our destination wedding photography packages include the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations. I do have a "bucket list" of locations that I am highly motivated to shoot in and I will provide pricing far below market value in exchange for the opportunity to shoot in these locations. Email me for more info!

Have you shot at my venue before?

I have been shooting weddings in Kansas City since 2012. I have literally shot close to 300 myself so there is a good chance that I have shot at your favorite venue. However, if I have not, I will get to the venue early on the day of your event and I will be sure to perform a thorough walk-through to scout out the best photography locations. I also do extensive online research prior to your event to be sure my team and I are prepared!

Do you shoot Quinceaneras, Debutants, Bah Mitzvahs, or Corporate Events?

Yes! We certainly cover these events! Whether your event is your wedding, another milestone or a corporate event, we have your celebration covered!

Do you do headshots, individual portraits, family portraits, newborn shoots, commercial photography, or other types of photography?

Yes, we have experience in many fields of photography, including real-estate.

What is your photography style?

I am known for my "documentary" photography style which is deeply rooted in photojournalism. I am very much influenced my vintage film, textures and colors and I positively adore using unique perspectives, angles, compositions and artistic post-production techniques to bring out my clients personalities and beauty while telling their individual story.

Do you edit/touch up every photo you deliver?

Every image I deliver is post produced with my characteristic hybrid film style. This involves "basic touchup" which includes; color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, tone-mapping, and blemish removal (non-permanent blemishes) on closeup portraits. Many photographers do not edit their images, or will only edit “select” images from your wedding. I edit ALL of them.

What is the difference between basic and custom touch ups; and why are there additional costs for advanced retouch?

Advanced post-production includes touch ups such as removal of blemishes, removal of bags under eyes, removal of fly-away hairs, etc. On the other hand, custom post production is anything that requires extensive, custom work in Photoshop such as removing entire objects from the scene, changing the size and shape of body parts or other objects in the scene, adding objects to a scene and other custom work. I charge hourly for the custom post production (unless I have included it as part of your package) as the time required ranges depending on the complexity of the project.
